The Annual Howl-O-Ween Hounds MEGA Pet Adoption Event^TM was on Saturday, October 12th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This Adoption Event at Grossmont Center in La Mesa brought together dozens of rescue groups and animal shelters, featuring HUNDREDS of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and birds!

Everything from giant breeds to Chihuahuas, purebreds to All-American Mutts, furry and even those in feathers....bring the whole family to this FREE event!

Volunteer Information

The SDASF organizes these annual mega adoption events in order to increase adoptions from reputable shelters and rescue agencies by bringing potential adopters and lots of dogs together in one fun, happy, stress-free environment, facilitating the matchmaking process! The participating adoption agencies are given free booth space, and admission is free to the public! These are the LARGEST Adoption Events (measured by the number of adoptable animals in one location) of any events in Southern California!
