| Announcing Dog Days of Summer at San Diego 6! The San Diego Animal Support Foundation will be organizing a MEGA PetTM Adoption Event at the San Diego 6, CW Studios on Saturday, June 14th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 8253 Ronson Road in Kearny Mesa. Approximately 200 adoptable dogs from dozens of local rescue and shelter agencies will be in attendance and ready to meet their new adoptive families! They will range in size from Saint Bernards to Chihuahuas, purebreds to All-American Mutts. Agencies in attendance will include Animal Rescuers Without Borders (online adoption form), Labradors & Friends (online adoption form), San Diego Spaniel Rescue (online adoption form), Sunny Saints St. Bernard Rescue (online adoption form), Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego (online adoption form), The Escondido Humane Society (pre-adoption questionaire), Chula Vista Animal Shelter (adoption form), Australian Shepherd Rescue, Almost Home Animal Rescue, Passion For Pitties Dog Rescue (adoption application), A Passion for Paws Akita Rescue (adoption application), Holly's Garden Small Breed Rescue (online and print applications), Bulldog Rescue of San Diego (adoption application), The Rescued Dog (online adoption application), Operation Greyhound Rescue (application form), Labrador Rescuers (adoption application) and more. The SDASF organizes these annual mega adoption events in order to increase adoptions from reputable shelters and rescue agencies by bringing potential adopters and lots of dogs together in one fun, happy, stress-free environment, facilitating the matchmaking process! The participating adoption agencies are given free booth space, and admission is free to the public! San Diego 6, The CW, has featured an adoptable pet on their morning news for the past 14 years.
