Living in one of the pet friendliest cities in the nation, there are literally 100's of fun things to do with your dog on any given day. But the hot temperatures we're currently experiencing can be dangerous and even deadly for your best 4-legged friend.
Hot Weather Tips for Your Dog

Rangers at our national parks are warning people about the threat of coyotes and the extremely high number of pets being rescued and rushed to veterinary emergency hospitals due to heat stroke. If you still wanting to take your dog to an off-leash dog park or beach, please don't stop and run errands that will require you to leave them in the hot car for even a few minutes. Here is a link to local off- leash parks where your best buddy can play. Just be sure to bring plenty of water and watch for signs of over exertion.

A better idea might be to leave your dogs at home where they're cool and safe this summer? Think about doing something fun indoors, like K9 Nose Work training. Its fun for you & mentally stimulating for your pooch, plus, it can be done in the comfort of your own air-conditioned home! YAY! Get started here:
