Our local animal shelters and rescue organizations are filled with amazing pets just waiting for someone to give them a forever home. Here are some of the ways that you can find the perfect pet:
- Visit our list of local shelters and rescue organizations. All pets adopted from these organizations are spayed/neutered, & up to date on shots. Many include a micro-chip, and most will provide you with any vet records.
- Save a pet from ever winding up in a shelter, and help a family who is willing to try to re-home their pet without dumping him/her in a shelter. This
is a great way to adopt a pet and have the full history, as well.
- You can also search using PetFinder.com, a popular national database. However, keep
in mind that not all organizations have the volunteer power to input all of their
animals.
